We wish you a warm welcome to the Petitville holiday home at Marmontweg 19 in Austerlitz. When making a reservation for a stay in the holiday home, we apply the general terms and conditions below.
By means of a confirmed reservation, these general terms and conditions become effective for the following parties:
Main guest
The person making the reservation is considered the main guest and the contact person.
The main guest, mentioned in the reservation confirmation, must be at least eighteen years old and is responsible for all guests staying in the holiday home during the reservation period. The main guest is responsible for an orderly course of events.
Owner
Petitville is owned by Huub Pragt and Joke Kleijweg. As owner and landlord, they are the direct neighbours at Marmontweg 21.
Holiday home
Holiday home Petitville has a fast and well-functioning Wi-Fi network. The house consists of two floors. On the ground floor is the living room, with underfloor heating and a television. You will also find a well-equipped kitchen, including a four-pit induction hob, a refrigerator,
a combi oven, a dishwasher and a washing machine. Kitchen appliances such as a coffee machine and an electric kettle are provided. Full kitchen utensils are provided. The garden, which is accessible through the French doors in the living room, also belongs to the holiday home. There is a toilet on the ground floor. On the first floor there are two rooms with electric radiators, with a total of four sleeping places. The bathroom has a shower cabin, a toilet and a sink.
Website
The texts and photos presented on the website www.petitville.nl may differ slightly from the current situation. Therefore, no rights can be derived from the texts and photos presented.
Reservation
Reserving the Petitville holiday home is done via the booking form on the bedandbreakfast.nl website. Only with a reservation confirmed by the landlord rights can be derived from e-mail.
Number of guests
It is not permitted to use the holiday home with more than four people. There is a bedroom on the first floor with a double bed. A second sleeping place is located in the loft of the office on the first floor. This sleeping area, located under the ridge of the house, has two made-up mattress beds.
Pets and smoking
Pets and smoking are not allowed in the holiday home.
Check-in and check-out
Check-in is from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. These times can be deviated from in consultation.
You must check out before 11:00 am. The departure time can be deviated from in consultation. We assume that you will leave the holiday home in a tidy manner.
Parking
There is ample parking in Austerlitz, and you can park freely.
Rental price
The costs for a stay in Petitville are € 140 per night for two people. A surcharge of € 25 per night is charged for each additional person. These amounts exclude tourist tax of € 2.45 per person per night and one-off cleaning costs after your departure of € 52.
What is included in the price?
The price includes a welcome package for the first evening and bread and toppings for a make-your-own first breakfast. Breakfast is not included for the other days. You can use towels and bed linen, water, electricity and internet.
Deposit
We kindly ask you to transfer a deposit of 25% of the total amount to be paid within seven days to the ING account of holiday home Petitville stated in the invoice. During these seven days you have an option to make a reservation. Once the deposit has been received, your booking is final. The remaining 75% of the total amount must be paid to us no later than fourteen days before the start of your stay in Petitville. Once we have received this remaining payment, we will send you an email for confirmation. If you make a reservation less than three weeks before your arrival date, you must pay us the total amount. Cash payment is not possible, only electronic transfers are accepted. If the total amount has not been paid on the day of arrival, we reserve the right to refuse you access to the holiday home.
Petitville – force majeure
Petitville may terminate the reservation agreement in the event of force majeure. This may include a natural disaster, extraordinary weather conditions, fire, special family circumstances, hospitalization or an unannounced sale. In such unforeseen cases, the owner will inform the guest as soon as possible and offer an alternative where possible. If this is not possible or if the guest does not accept the alternative offered, the full amount will be refunded immediately.
Cancellation policy
If you unexpectedly want to cancel your reservation, we will charge the following cancellation costs:
Until the 42nd day before the day of arrival: the deposit.
From the 42nd day to the 28th day before the day of arrival: 35% of the total amount.
From the 28th day to the 21st day before the day of arrival: 40% of the total amount.
From the 21st day to the 14th day before the day of arrival: 50% of the total amount.
From the 14th day to the 5th day before the day of arrival: 75% of the total amount.
From the 5th day to the day of arrival: 90% of the total amount.
In case of cancellation on the day of arrival or later: the total amount.
No refund will be made in the event of premature departure from the holiday home.
You must always inform us of a cancellation by e-mail. The amount owed to you will then be transferred to you as soon as possible.
Comments and complaints
We try to make your stay in Petitville as pleasant as possible. Despite our good care, it is still possible that you have a comment or complaint. In order to properly resolve the inconvenience, we kindly ask you to let us know as soon as possible. This can be done verbally on site, by e-mail or telephone. We will take your comments into reasonable consideration. We will try to reduce your objections as much as possible within reason.
Damage due to force majeure
The owner of Petitville is not liable for unforeseen malfunctions in the holiday home.
These include internet disruptions, power outages, and disruptions in the water supply.
Damage to guest
The owner of Petitville cannot be held liable for loss, theft, damage or accidents caused to persons and/or goods during or as a result of the stay in the holiday home. The guest indemnifies the owner of Petitville against liability in this regard.
Damage to landlord
Breakage or damage to materials in or on the holiday home caused by the guest must be reported to the landlord. Any repair and/or replacement costs must be reimbursed by the guest. If it turns out after check-out that items have been left broken and this has not been reported to the landlord, you will still be billed for the repair and/or replacement costs incurred.
Safety
The two floors of the Petitville holiday home are equipped with smoke detectors.
Applicable law
Unless otherwise provided in rules of private international law, these general terms and conditions are exclusively governed by Dutch law. Non-Dutch speaking guests are also expected to agree to these general terms and conditions.
Dispute settlement
All disputes arising from the user agreement, or these general terms and conditions will be settled in the first instance by the competent court in the Netherlands, unless the rules of private international law provide otherwise.
Allocation of obligations and rights
Neither the main guest nor the landlord can transfer its rights and obligations to third parties unless otherwise stated in these conditions.
Privacy declaration
When making a reservation via the website www.petitville.nl, your email details are stored in a database. This personal information will never be provided to third parties. They are used exclusively for business correspondence between the main guest and the landlord relating to the rental of the Petitville holiday home. You can always object to the way your personal data is processed. All persons who have registered for a reservation in the Petitville holiday home by telephone or via the Internet have the right to view their personal data, have errors in their data corrected or have their data permanently deleted from all files. The landlord of Petitville is very concerned about shielding and securing the personal data of customers as best as possible. In the event of any data breaches, the authorities will be notified immediately. The email and address details of people who were in one-off contact with the landlord of Petitville will be kept for a maximum of three years. Then the data will be deleted from all files. The address details of customers who have made a reservation are kept for seven years and then deleted.
